This house has another name – Harlaba house, named after its first owner – D. Harlaba. He was a rich and respected citizen who owned real estate, and rented it out. The architect of this building was Iakiv Pauchenko, author of many buildings in the historic Yelisavetgrad. The ground floor housed shops, offices, two joint-stock companies, and the rest was occupied International Credit Bank. This organization is now engraved on the building name plate.
